Thumbs up for Qatar and Bahrain handball.. Tough luck for Saudi Arabia and Kuwait

Bahrain took the lead in the handball tournament after defeating Kuwait 23:24 raising its score to 6 points. This is the 3rd victory for Bahrain and ironically the 3rd defeat for Kuwait in three matches. Qatar on the other hand emerged victorious 26:25 against Saudi Arabia, the title holder in one of the strongest matches in the tournament. The Saudis were first to score ending the first half 14:11. The Qataris however, pulled themselves together and made good use of the several mistakes the Saudi made in the 2nd half and ended the match with a single goal difference. The next game between Bahrain and Oman is most likely to decide the champion.
